Plesser’s Charity Foundation Inc.

Founded in 2017 by Marc Howard, President & CEO of Plesser’s Appliances, Plesser’s Charity Foundation Inc. (PCF, Inc.) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting Long Island charities and organizations nationwide, inspiring positive change.

Since our founding, Plesser’s Charity Foundation, Inc. has organized eight annual charity golf outings. Our ninth outing will be held on July 27, 2026. This year’s outing will benefit the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation. The mission of the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation is to nurture the bond between humans and companion animals through education, advocacy, and adoption. They enrich the lives of the animals in their care through training, affection, and veterinary services, ultimately placing them in a loving forever home.

We invite you to support the meaningful work of our 2025 beneficiary, Mercy Soup Kitchen in Wyandanch. Their mission is to combat hunger and address community needs by serving hot, nourishing meals in a respectful, welcoming environment. Make a difference and learn more by visiting their website.

Supporting Local Causes

At Plesser’s Charity Foundation, Inc. giving back is at the heart of our identity. Each of our charity golf outings has impacted lives and brought support to local nonprofits such as:

• Long Island Home Builders Care Inc. supports key community projects.
• Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition advances the fight against breast cancer.
• Fiver Children’s Foundation creates opportunities for underserved youth.
• Safe Harbor offers essential assistance to vulnerable individuals.
• John Theissen Children’s Foundation helps children facing medical challenges.
• Guide Dog Foundation enhances the quality of life for people who are blind, have low vision, or have other visual impairments.
• ALS Ride for Life supports research to cure ALS, assists people with ALS and their families, and raises public awareness.

Altogether, our charity golf outings have generated over $500,000. Every dollar raised represents hope, comfort, and vital support for those facing hardship—helping to provide warm meals, fund lifesaving healthcare, ensure safe housing, and deliver opportunities to neighbors in need.

Giving Back with Habitat for Humanity

Plesser’s Appliances proudly partnered with Habitat for Humanity on a construction project in Riverhead, New York. Our committed Plesser’s team volunteered at the site, participating in the annual Women Build Program initiative.
